AGN Library

Many members may not be aware that the AGN’s reference library is located in the Upstairs Gallery, 38 Walton St., Port Hope. This library contains a wide selection of art related books, including artist’s biographies and critiques, art history, architecture, art techniques and others. Recently AGN volunteers Sandra Murray, Margaret Challenger, Malcolm Pratt spent one week rearranging and reording the library for improved accessibility.

Sandra and fellow volunteer Elise Brais have been cataloguing this collection on an ongoing basis. The Art Gallery is grateful for their time and effort to maintain this valuable collection.

Borrowing privileges are included in your AGN membership.
